My hometown in Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija is often devastated by storms and typhoons. The flooding caused by the rain lasts for many weeks and so supply of electricity becomes unstable. In a predominantly rice field-dominated town like ours, continuous electricity is a precious commodity most people are denied.
Lamp posts are scarce in Zaragoza that most people are sleeping in their homes by 7PM. The solar kit's two 1.8W LED lamps will definitely be a welcome relief, we'll have longer bonding hours at night and we need not worry about high electricity bills at all.
